Solidarity Spark – Empowering Youth Changemakers

Many young people across Europe are unaware of the opportunities offered by the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) or feel excluded from them. This project creates an accessible, youth-friendly online course that introduces the ESC, and provides step-by-step guidance on applying for funding. Read more.
Public Spaces 4 Peace Places

In many European communities, young people — especially those with fewer opportunities — are excluded from shaping the spaces they live in. Project empowers youth to transform public areas into inclusive “peace places” that promote safety, belonging and coexistence. Read more.
SAYP: Inclusive Youth Work and Leadership in the Eastern Partnership

Madada Program

In Mathare, Kenya, young girls face health risks and stigma due to limited sexual and reproductive health access. This project empowers youth aged 15–25 with SRHR education and leadership training using Backa’s Sex-Ed method, supporting them to raise awareness through workshops, digital storytelling, and community advocacy. Rising Polyglot Grades

Project develops an innovative, game-based language learning method using Role-Playing Game (RPG) elements and real-life scenarios to develop practical language skills of young immigrants, newcomers, and underserved youth. Designed to address the linguistic, social, and cultural barriers newcomers face in European countries. Read more.
Empowering Young People to Lead Positive Change in Armenia

Youth in Armenia face limited opportunities to participate in policymaking, with no formal structures supporting their engagement. This initiative strengthens the youth sector by fostering dialogue between youth and decision-makers, supporting advocacy efforts, and introducing Armenia’s first youth census to inform policy development. European Solidarity Corps

The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is a unique opportunity that brings together young people from across Europe to contribute to positive change, both in their own lives and within the communities they support. Young Peacebuilders
Project period: December 2020 – October 2027

Funded by: Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) as part of the Maatschappelijke Diensttijd (MDT) programme
The program is a 9-week training for young people aged 16 to 29, aimed at fostering a society where everyone counts and takes part. Participants develop life skills such as personal values, group dynamics, communication, inclusion, leadership, solution-oriented thinking and making an impact. They also create community projects, and take part in national peace dialogues with partners like the Peace Palace, UNESCO and others. Read more.

Rural youth workers in Finland and Sweden often lack access to international opportunities like Erasmus+ and ESC. This project empowers them by building awareness, skills, and confidence to integrate international tools into their daily work in their home communities. Read more.
Girls empowerment Nordics

Many girls and non-binary youth in the Nordic countries face social exclusion and limited opportunities for meaningful engagement. This project addresses these challenges by developing inclusive programs through cross-border collaboration among youth workers in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Read more.

Planet One: Empowering the Global Youth Climate Justice Movement
Project period: April 2021 – December 2024

Funded by: Svenska Postkodlotteriet
Global project supporting the growing youth movement for climate justice. Planet One operated in the six countries of Armenia, Cameroon, Hungary, Kenya, South Africa and Sweden through the establishment of makerspaces – safe, inclusive environments where youth actively engaged in hands-on learning and addressed real-world environmental challenges. These makerspaces provided a foundation for youth to develop their own initiatives, gain practical skills and build a strong network of support, empowering them to become changemakers. Read more.
